No outrage, no break & nothing 's at stake.
People stopped, laughed and adored,
When this little lamb ran, jumped, and
He played all day within his bamboo hedge.
Everyone who saw him bent down and said,
Oh! How adorable this cute little babe.
Aware of the wolves that look for bait,
Butchers that slaughter innocence every day.
One day he saw his mother crying in a corner,
He said to her that mother why you cry?
She told him that he would be a star.
He says whoa! Like a movie star?
She nods a little and then tells him to go play.
Finally the day of glory has come,
When two actors in love unite as one,
Celebrate the evening with dinner and rum,
And lamb on the table says, it is done!

Sure, vocabulary is not enough for perfect expression ... but you used it close to the best. I felt the warmth of the sun's ray, I was standing by the bamboo hedge as the lamb played, I saw her tears and finally.... did see the candle light.....i was sad at first...but soon i could whisper to myself with a sigh and a smile,'Life goes on'. I can't say a lot, but thank you for the beautiful poem.
Lovely poem and expressed beautifully. I somehow have been feeling the same recently and therefore it makes all the more sense. You should start writing seriously now. :-)
